#CD-8 premix was purchased by PETROCHINA Daqing Petrochemical Company along with the LLDPE Device from UCC Company in the US in 1988. After that, localization was realized and antistatic effects could basically meet the requirements of product standards; however, it may lead to leaks and flat heads during the process of bridging of feed pipe, additive bonding and film blowing process. By analyzing the problems in applications, Nanjing Chunda implemented synthesis and compounding of #CD-8 premix, and carried out industrial applications in major petrochemical enterprises in China, to prevent the problems of leaks and flat heads during the process of bridging of feed pipe, additive bonding and film blowing process. The performance of product has caught and exceeded the performance of foreign #8 premix, with surface resistivity of film blowing products exceeding 5.0×108Ω.
